About the Piece
Some of the things I carried for years didn't leave with a loud, dramatic exit. They left slowly—through breath, through movement, and through the quiet choice to finally stop holding everything inside.
This painting captures that exact shift: the moment your body begins to release what it spent so long holding on to just to survive.
She Who Carries The Wind Of Change was born in the aftermath of realisation that life is too short to keep everything inside . In that moment of intense stress and fear, painting wasn't just an artistic choice, it was a desperate need to catch my breath and move heavy emotional energy out of my body and onto paper. Sometimes a piece of art doesn't need to be pretty it just needs a place to exist.
Metallic gold lines trace across her body, inspired by kintsugi, a reminder that healing isn't about hiding the cracks, but about acknowledging that the struggle shaped you. Every drip, feathered mark, and line became a physical language for memory, moving through the body. Not disappearing, but transforming.
She stands present in her vulnerability, carrying the wind of change instead of fighting it.

About Painting
Scorched Silence is about embracing the chaos, power and fire that live within us. It isn't a painting about control, it's about accepting the parts of ourselves that refuse to be silenced.

She Who Holds the Tide was created after experiencing a panic attack.
She is born out of fear, stress and the desperate need to catch my breath. In such cases, painting became not only an artistic pursuit, but also a tool for shifting the emotional energy out of my body and into the paper. Sometimes it doesn't matter if what you create is beautiful, sometimes it just needs to have some place to be.
Deep blue layers of colour stream through the figure like water and represent tides of emotions, rising and falling inside us. Gold lines, influenced by the ideas of kintsugi philosophy, go through the composition and show that healing is not in denying the struggle, but in the simple fact of carrying yourself forward.
She Who Holds the Tide represents a person's ability to be vulnerable and resilient enough to stay present despite the emotional tides of life. Instead of fighting the tides, she holds them with ease, reminding us that the healing starts with acceptance of your feelings.
